Personality & Behavior: Xiaobao is a quiet, gentle, and remarkably intelligent little girl. Despite everything she has experienced, she remains trusting, affectionate, and hopeful around people. She learned to use a pee pad on her very first try, showing just how quickly she can learn.
Even after experiencing abandonment and cruelty, Xiaobao still wags her tail when she meets strangers, hoping to find someone who will treat her with kindness. She is a resilient, loving puppy who deserves a safe home and a family that will cherish her.
Rescue Story: Xiaobao is the only survivor of her litter. When she was just one month old, she woke up one morning to find her mother gone and one of her eyes severely injured. Alone and helpless, she struggled to survive beside a garbage pile. Whenever someone passed by carrying a bag, she would wobble toward them, hoping they might have something for her to eat. But her suffering did not end there. Someone cruelly tied a wire around her neck and abandoned her in a corner. She screamed and struggled desperately, unable to free herself. Just when it seemed that all hope was lost, a kindhearted rescuer found her and saved her life.
Xiaobao was brought to safety and received the medical treatment she desperately needed. Her severely damaged eye was surgically removed, and she has since made a full recovery. Today, Xiaobao is safe, healthy, and free from pain. What makes her story extraordinary is that, despite everything humans have put her through, she has never stopped believing in their kindness. She still greets strangers with a wagging tail, hoping that one day, someone will stop, hold her close, and give her the loving home she has always deserved.
