Personality & Behavior: ShayShay is a gentle, quiet, and well-behaved young girl. At adoption events, she tends to sit calmly and observe rather than bark or hide, showing a sweet and patient nature. She has good energy, a healthy appetite, and has adjusted well to being cared for by people. With a stable, loving home, Shay Shay would have the chance to keep building confidence and let more of her personality shine.
Rescue Story: ShayShay was found abandoned under an overpass with her sister Weiwei and their brother when they were still very young. The three puppies had been left to fend for themselves and were covered in fleas and ticks when rescuers finally reached them. After being brought to safety, ShayShay and Weiwei stayed together while they recovered, grew stronger, received their vaccinations, and were later spayed. Their brother was fortunate enough to find a family, but the two sisters continued attending adoption events side by side, hoping that one day someone would choose them too. ShayShay has remained gentle and patient through it all. From a tiny puppy abandoned under a bridge to a young dog still waiting for a home, she has come a long way. Now she and Weiwei are each hoping to find a loving family and finally have a place to call their own. ❤️
